About Divine Light Glassworks

Crafted with Heart, Rooted in Appalachia

My Journey

My name is Kori Collins. I grew up in Meigs County, Ohio, surrounded by the rolling hills and natural beauty of Ohio River. This landscape—its light, its seasons, its quiet strength—has shaped not just who I am, but the art I create.

I began blowing glass at 20, drawn to the dance between fire and form, the way molten glass responds to breath and intention. For over a decade, I've honed this craft as an apprentice, learning to coax beauty from heat and movement.

In 2020, during recovery from shoulder surgery in the midst of Covid, I discovered stained glass. What began as a way to stay creative became a new passion. I taught myself the art of cutting, shaping, and assembling glass into patterns of my own design. Each stained glass piece I create is an original—patterns born from my imagination and connection to the natural world.

Art Rooted in Place & Wellness

Much of my work reflects the Appalachian landscape I call home and the nature that surrounds me. Whether it's the way light filters through forest canopy or the colors of a mountain sunset, these elements find their way into my glass.

As a massage therapist and yoga instructor, health and wellness are central to my life. I believe in creating with intention, in honoring the body and spirit through mindful practice. This philosophy extends to my glasswork—each piece is crafted with care, designed to bring light, beauty, and a sense of peace into your space.

Fine Art That Lasts

I create fine art, not fast products. Every piece from Divine Light Glassworks is made to be cherished, to endure, to become part of your story. Quality and craftsmanship matter to me. I believe in creating work that is timeless—glass that will catch the light for generations to come.

Thank you for supporting handmade art and for welcoming a piece of Appalachia into your home.

With light and gratitude,
